Street Music With Karp Foley Band

The weekend is full of events and music will once again take center stage on Paris Avenue in Port Royal, SC.  The Karp Foley Band will begin playing at 6:00 pm and perform until 9:00 pm.  The event is FREE and open to the public - so gather some friends, pack a cooler, bring a chair and dust off those dancing shoes and prepare to have a fun night out.

Sue Foley and Peter Karp perform a brilliant form of Americana music along with Blues and they promise you a great show.  "He Said - She Said" was their first CD collaboration released in 2010 on Blind Pig Records and in 2012 they released "Beyond The Crossroads."  Peter states that "Beyond The Crossroads" is a high voltage, plank spankin', piano boogyin', slide guitar stompin', blues-rockin' CD.

This group has performed at the New York State Blues Festival,  Pittsburgh Blues Festival and Castel San Piebro Blues Festival in Italy.  Sue is considered to be one of today's finest blues and roots artists and has shared the stage with the likes of BB King, Buddy Guy and Tom Petty.  Peter is a U.S. critically acclaimed singer/songwriter and a multi instrumentalist from southern Alabama and the swamps of New Jersey where his music is fueled by the Yankee-Rebel juxtaposition. Peter personifies the amorphous Americana sound, seamlessly blending blues and roots music with a high sense of entertainment.

NOW that I have your attention - I will expect to see you out and about at the "Street Music" event.
