A Night On The Town will be held in downtown Beaufort on Friday, December 5, 2014. Businesses will stay open late and there will be entertainment by the Parris Island Marine Corps Band, dance groups and clubs and music from local choirs. The Christmas Tree Lighting will be the finale as Santa Claus arrives to kick off the season of giving, greetings and happy faces of young and old alike.
There will be vendors serving food for your hungry appetites along with all the local downtown restaurants being open for your dining pleasure. If you are a non profit organization and are interested in having a food booth, please visit www.downtownbeaufort.com for a 2014 Food Vendor application.

On Saturday night, December 6, 2014 gather the family together and head for the Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park and enjoy a special Beaufort holiday tradition. Join Main Street Beaufort, USA and the Beaufort Sail & Power Squadron for the Light Up The Night Boat Parade on the Beaufort River beginning at 5:30 pm. The decorated boats will make three passes by the seawall for your viewing of the magical display of brightly lite Christmas boats. Hot chocolate will be available courtesy of The Greenery. The weekend will climax with the traditional Christmas Parade in downtown Beaufort from 3:00 - 5:00 pm on Sunday, December 7, 2014.
