Christmas in the Lowcountry - Festival of Trees

The Christmas season is fast approaching and there are many events that are upcoming for every one's enjoyment.  December 4, 2014 will kick off the Festival of Trees at the Shed in Port Royal as the Gala Opening Reception starts at 6:00 pm till 9:00 pm.  Cost for the evening will be $50.00 per person - Adults Only - Cocktail Attire - Black Tie Optional. The event will have a silent auction, live music, wine, beer and appetizers from local restaurants and the unveiling of the beautifully decorated trees.  

Friends of Carolina Hospice benefit from these events and the group serves individuals and families in Beaufort County and provides hospice care, bereavement and caregiver support services to all individuals in the community, regardless of their ability to pay.

On Friday, December 5, 2014 the Festival of Trees display will open at 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (Santa, Mrs. Claus and the Elves will be there from 9:00 till 3:00 pm) and will continue on Saturday, December 6 from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm (Santa, Mrs. Claus and the Elves will be there from 10:00 till 2:00 pm. Begin your holiday shopping at the Festival Shoppes where you can buy baked goods, crafts, gift baskets, wreaths, jewelry and lots more.

Admission for Friday and Saturday are as follows: Adults - $5.00, Adult w/military ID - $3.00, Group/youth - $2.00 and Children under 2 - FREE.  For more information call 843-525-6257 or visit the website at www.friendsofcarolinehospice.org.
